Why did the white Swedish Moose cross the river? No clue but a video of a moose, all-white and other-wordly, is being admired around the world after a Swedish man captured the creature taking a quick dip in a shallow river.
White moose might not even be an albino. The moose doesn’t appear to have the pinkish eyes common among albino creatures. Instead, it may get its bright fur “from a recessive gene that causes the animal to grow white with specks of brown—a condition referred to as piebald.”
