Granny strangling Russian serial killer on the loose

Russian police say the killer began preying on lonely old women in 2011. He befriends them and then strangles them in their homes. The victims were all between 75 and 90 years of age.

“We have serious grounds to suppose that he is a resident of Udmurtia,” say senior investigators. “He killed three pensioners in regional capital Izhevsk. For any information that helps to identify the criminal, we guarantee a payment of 3 million rubles ($66,500).” The killer has not struck for five years but detectives fear he’s getting ready to murder again.
Police believe that the killer may be able to slow down but monsters like him “can never stop themselves.”
