|A man died Wednesday night after being shot by police, the aftermath of which was recorded in a video widely shared on Facebook in which the man’s girlfriend says the “police shot him for no apparent reason, no reason at all.”|
The incident began when an officer initiated a traffic stop around 9 p.m. Wednesday in Falcon Heights, a St. Paul suburb.
|32-year-old Philando Castile died. As word of Castile's death and video spread, scores of people gathered at the scene of the shooting.|
"No justice, no sleep," the protesters chanted. Relatives of Castile described him as a hard-working man who had been employed for years as cafeteria supervisor at a Montessori school in St. Paul.
