Toronto Cops and Sexual Assualt

A veteran Toronto Police officer has been accused of sexually assaulting a woman while giving her a ride home in his cruiser. Ontario’s Special Investigations Unit (SIU) said Sgt. Christopher Heard, who served for years in the force’s mounted unit, allegedly committed the crime after encountering a 27-year-old woman around 1 a.m. last Sept. 24.

“The woman was driven to her residence by the officer in his police vehicle,” an SIU statement issued Wednesday said.“The assault is alleged to have occurred in the vehicle during the drive to the complainant’s residence.

Leslie Nyznik, Sameer Kara, Joshua Cabero
Charges were laid against Leslie Nyznik, Sameer Kara and Joshua Cabero in February 2015 after a female parking enforcement officer was allegedly forced into sexual acts.

Two DNA profiles were identified from the semen found on the alleged victim’s body, clothing and jewelry. They were compared to DNA samples from the three accused.

Two of the officers were matches. According to the document, the chances of it not being them are in the trillions and quadrillions.

Donald Clark
A retired York Regional Police officer, charged in connection with the sexual assault of four minors over a 40-year stretch, worked closely with children for more than 10 years as part of the community services department.

A component of 65-year-old Donald Clark’s role involved “interaction with children” while working in community outreach from 1985 to 1995, according to York Regional Police. Clark was charged in November 2015 in connection with the sexual assault of a child on Oct. 30. At that time, he was fired from his position as a part-time York police fleet assistant.
