Puppy-stealing HA associate gets probation

A former mixed martial arts fighter who was accused of stealing a puppy has been sentenced to two years probation. Ryan Timothy Chiappe, 37, was issued the term Friday in Prince George provincial court for three counts of possession of stolen property under $5,000, and one count each of assault, uttering threats to cause bodily harm, and breach of an undertaking or recognizance. Chiappe was arrested Dec. 5, 2014, after police pulled him over and found the allegedly stolen dog in his vehicle.
Jay Hall was shot and killed in Prince George in March, 2015.

Ryan Timothy Chiappe was Jay Hall's best friend, Leader of the Independent Soldiers in PG. Prince George RCMP executed a search warrant on a Minotti Drive home associated with Chiappe and found two stolen motor bikes.

According to Tapology, Chiappe had a record of 10 wins and eight losses.
